Many of you may remember Mia’s Place & my antique and gift boutique that quickly became known for its curated treasures, seasonal finds, and signature scents like Naturscent. It was more than just a shop — it was a gathering place filled with heart.
Now, I’m returning to what I love most — curating beautiful, meaningful pieces and supporting local talent. Over the years, I’ve built lasting relationships with makers and small business owners who inspire me, and I’m excited to bring back some longtime favorites alongside fresh finds that celebrate creativity, community, and craft.

Over the years, my love for crafting and baking only grew. Today, I handcraft cozy, practical homestead goods like bowl cozies and sewn kitchen items, and I bake cookies and small-batch desserts made with care and comfort in mind. Everything I create is meant to bring a little extra warmth and joy into your home.

We’re Tim and Kris Singleton, a husband and wife team passionate about food and people. After living in Charlotte, NC, we’ve returned to our hometown in the Tampa Bay area to reconnect with our roots and share the culinary inspiration we’ve gathered along the way. With three kids (and three little food critics!), we understand the balance between health and flavor.

Our story begins in Nigeria, where an early connection to tropical plants first took root. In 1986, the family returned to Florida and soon after established a tree nursery in Plant City. What started as a small operation quickly grew into a lifelong, multi-generational passion for cultivating and caring for plants of all kinds. With over 30 years of hands-on experience, our roots run deep in the nursery industry.
Today, our focus is on sharing that love of plants—tropical, ornamental, rare, and native—with gardeners, landscapers, and plant lovers across the country. From Rainbow Eucalyptus to purple jacarandas, kapoks, and beyond, we’re committed to growing healthy, beautiful trees with care and expertise. For us, it’s more than a business—it’s a legacy of growing, learning, and nurturing life from the ground up.
